Jack’s work seeks to integrate the ‘stillness’ of traditional painting compositions with the added dimension of movement brought on via 3D animation - Creating captivating pieces where the subjects of the paintings are able to be viewed perpetually in motion.

Final Round depicts a scene familiar to many - of weekends spent playing incessantly on our video game consoles as a child. Most interestingly, the artist takes on the 'PS1 aesthetic' in this piece, intentionally forsaking the clean lines and smooth depth of perspective that is possible with 3D tools today. In so doing, the artist makes a direct reference to the Playstation 1 console not only by including it in the work, but also through the way the work is crafted in and of itself, with its angular lines and seemingly more pixelated appearance.
