Jack’s work seeks to integrate the ‘stillness’ of traditional painting compositions with the added dimension of movement brought on via 3D animation - Creating captivating pieces where the subjects of the paintings are able to be viewed perpetually in motion.

In 7pm, Shelley St 中環, Jack captures a moment of stillness in a busy Hong Kong street. The work conveys at once a feeling of evasion - the viewer travels into the painting into a city they may not have yet visited - and intimacy, as the central figure appears to speak with the viewer whilst eating her meal.
