The Cave of Forgotten Dreams is part of a series of works called Personal Fictions. When Terry started working on this project, he had a completely different work in mind, and then he drifted on what he considers to be a representation of our obscure "inner space".
This interior here takes the form of a cave, in which our ancestors already sheltered from night and predators. Besides a refuge, our interior, that is, our cave, is also a place in which we perform many rituals, many of which are beyond our consciousness. The cave is man’s home. It is filled with ghosts and forgotten dreams.
