Memory is a work that emerged following the Challenge between Paris Collage Collective and Cultura, a network art theory review. The theme was memory.

The year 2022 marked the 150th anniversary of the birth of Marcel Proust and the centenary of his death. This was an opportunity for Julink to pay tribute to the writer by integrating a box of madeleines into the collage. She also added a cup of tea, a nod to the job she does in a French tea house.

This collage therefore refers to the passage: “I brought to my lips a spoonful of tea where I had left a piece of madeleine to soften. But at the very moment when the mouthful, mixed with the crumbs of the cake, touched my palate, I shuddered, attentive to the extraordinary that was happening in me. »

This digital work is made from old photographs or objects. Julink mixes colors as well as black and white. This allows the audience to interpret the word “memory” through their own memories.
