Pop TV was born from a Paris Collage Collective challenge. This collective allows local and international artists to come together around an artistic project that pushes them to create a collage from an imposed image.
In PopTv, the imposed image was the television. Julink mixes the small and the big screen to create a surreal and offbeat universe.
Born in the 90s, Julink used a television test pattern as the central star in this piece. This very representative symbol of the subject also refers to a relative who is passionate about French television.
To represent the art of cinema, the artist opts for popcorn which takes on the appearance of snow on the mountain.
