Joseba Elorza, also known as MiraRuido, initially studied sound engineering, but his artistic interests led him to collage, a technique he has now been practicing for over 15 years. Shortly after posting his first works online, he received his first commissions from magazines. Since then, his illustrations have appeared in publications such as Esquire, the Wall Street Journal, and The Hollywood Reporter, and in 2013, he began animating them. The artist uses collage as a technique to decontextualize common knowledge, reconfigure our senses, and blend the known past with the unknown future. His works capture snapshots of another world, where anything seems possible, and convey an ironic sense of humor toward modern society by choosing to depict ordinary, familiar things in a new and disorienting way.
In addition to these illustrations created in collaboration with the press, MiraRuido produces music videos with renowned artists and brands such as Green Day, the National Geographic Channel, and Amazon Studios. His talent has been recognized internationally, earning him prestigious awards such as the Silk Road Award (Grand Prix at the Cannes International Independent Film Festival), the Gold Medal at the New York Festivals, and several Best Music Video awards (Chicago Film Awards, Venice Shorts Film Awards, Musicbed Film Festival, and more). His works have also been exhibited at major events around the world, such as Nft.NYC (United States), Digital Paradise (China), and the Awwwards Conference (Netherlands).

Life often places insurmountable obstacles on the outside. However, many believe that the highest and most inaccessible peaks are always found within ourselves. It is in these inner landscapes that the steepest and most treacherous mountains are found. It's cold and windy, the road is endless, and at every corner of the winding path you find the remnants of hundreds of other "you's" that failed in the previous attempt, but you know that at the top, the view will be spectacular and the reward infinite; there should be nothing more satisfying than seeing yourself from the top and nothing more enlightening than seeing things from the perspective of the highest mountain in your inner landscape.
