Karen creates digital collages and papers from magazines, books and period catalogues that can be found in thrift stores or second-hand bookstores for example. Through her work inspired by the vintage universe, retro cinema and architecture, she aspires to resurrect and transform pieces of the long-forgotten past into colorful, surreal and retro-futuristic landscapes. 

This work was created for the largest music festival in Australia, "Splendour in the Grass", during which it was screened on the main stage.
