Star Bathing is part of the Restorative Afrofuturism collection, a multimedia collection that explores the intersection between Afrofuturism and artificial intelligence. Aya collaborated with artificial intelligence to co-write and visually bring the story of Queen Calathea to life. The queen’s body was made of star silk, a material made from light threads capable of storing energy, which gave her flexibility, durability and strength. The center of his body was the main star silk tree, which channeled energy to all parts of his being.
