Jakob’s work is halfway between real and unreal. This artist likes to simulate often abstract phenomena, but made realistic by a play of lights and shadows. For this, he is generally inspired by what he observes in real life, nature as well as everyday objects. Most of his favorite artists are also interested in surrealism and his passion for video games brings a more unreal dimension to his art. In this piece, Jakob wanted to work on a pixel-style simulation with disturbing hints about global warming.
