Moving Painting - H.264 narrates, with stunning visuals, the genesis of the World, the Earth, living beings, from the dark abysses to the golden light of the sun. All these cells of the living search and merge in a Lynchienne atmosphere, mysterious and bewitching supported by the music of the composer Cédric DOUHAIRE to whom Stéphanie VARELA called to accompany her pictorial ballet.
"Moving Painting - H.264 is a powerful work that comes at a pivotal moment in my work," says Stéphanie VARELA. Created in 2010, this work contains in its title the term «H.264». The "H.264" is a coding format for recording and distributing video and audio in Full HD. “By making room for this nomenclature in the title of the work itself, I was taking note of the new field of expansion towards which I was heading with my animated paintings: the digital world."
