The new coronavirus pandemic has put us in strict lockdown for months and months. The world’s population then took refuge on the networks, where they connected full-time. Messenger, Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Stories, DM, e-mails, phone calls... we were connected 24 hours a day to chat with school friends we hadn’t heard in years, parents we had ignored throughout our lives until the pandemic, co-workers, friends of the Internet, online shows, streamings, group calls, we were everywhere. People have never been so close, the world at our fingertips, no distance, everyone in our home smiling on a screen, everyone adorable, friendly, supportive. It was nice to see you, we would almost forget about the pandemic". But every time we got out of the house, the world seemed so far away. No screens, real people. Real people mean danger. Real people carry the virus. Stay away from everyone. An imperative. Keep the distance. Keep in touch without touching.
