"Dog Series" is born from my love for dogs and my fascination with Houdini’s hair simulation techniques. I combine realistic textures with a more primitive approach to form, creating a contrast between detailed surfaces and simplified shapes. Vibrant colors help convey the mood and personality of each dog, while I experiment with textures to give the works depth and energy.
The compositions are designed to make sense from a single point of view, creating a naive, almost flat perspective of a three-dimensional subject. This gives the images a playful, stylized quality. Each piece goes beyond just capturing the dog's appearance — it's an exploration of its character through textures, colors, and form. Creating these works is a joyful process, and I love how they come to life with such vibrant energy.
