This work incorporates the traditional Korean concepts of the sun, moon, and five peaks, as well as history from folk tales. It expresses the idea that our culture and rituals will remain and persist even after a thousand years, as if quietly seeping into each of our perceptions. Through some of the unique symbols of Sijangseng, such as stones, trees, mountains, and water, the work depicts that the space we are in is a zen world and an idealized paradise that is connected to the real world.
