Vacades

Timo Helgert, also known as Vacades, is a German artist known for creating immersive digital experiences that have captured audiences around the world. Working with his team, he pushes the boundaries of digital art, using advanced technology like 3D scanning, mixed reality, and visual machine learning to craft viral content for luxury brands on social media. In his personal practice, Timo draws from his memories growing up surrounded by nature. Despite having become bored of the countryside, the artist found himself missing it once he had moved to the bustling city of Seoul. His work explores the tensions of urban versus natural environments, including the memories, nostalgia, sense of peace and contrasts that juxtaposing the two creates.

His work has been trusted by brands such as Burberry, Cartier, Pandora, Tiffany & Co., Maserati, and many more, who rely on his attention to detail, precision, and perfectionism to create lifelike and engaging visuals that break social media records.

Infinite Jungle - Horizontal

This piece is an endless loop through a dense, dreamlike jungle. It does not exist in real life, but it feels like it could. It was born from imagination, and from a longing for stillness and connection to the green heart of our planet. In Japan, there are forests used as treatment for anxiety and depression. I thought about this when creating the piece. The Infinite Jungle gives you space to breathe, to calm down, to simply exist with the rhythm of nature. The loop allows you to stay for as long as you need, to go deeper, or to just take a moment.
