At nightfall, the illuminated windows take over the architecture that frames them.
They become real living pictures.
The interior asserts itself in relation to the exterior and fleeting visions of the intimacy of the inhabitants are
offered to us.
It is not their direct intimacy that interests me but that of the space...
The warmth of a light, the flickering of a garland or a television, the corner of a painting..
All these elements solicit my imagination.
While looking at these windows, I tell myself stories about the people who live behind them, I fantasize about
their spaces, their intimacy.
I capture these moments and reconstruct my own architectures.
I stack these elements, I interweave them to create my paintings of intimacies.
Transparency towards the "house" of others.
Space of the inside.
Visions of the intimate.
