“When you go out to paint, try to forget what objects you have before you, a tree, a house, a field, or whatever. Merely think here is a little square of blue, here an oblong of pink, here a streak of yellow, and paint it just as it looks to you, the exact color and shape.”
― Claude Monet
"Satori | 「悟り」" is a series that explores the intersection between the organic motion found in nature and the infinite possibilities of algorithmic design.
The winds blow...
The flame burns...
The rivers flow...
Remember the mesmerizing motion created by the breeze as it hits the tips of the tall grass fields?
As a child, I used to travel outside of the city quite often. I'd discover a peaceful spot in the hills, sit down, and spend the day getting lost in the soothing motion of nature, which always left my mind at ease. This memory became deeply ingrained in me, and it is through my art that I aim to bring those cherished moments from my childhood to life. My hope is that anyone who views these pieces can also feel that same meditative state of peace and tranquility that I experienced as a child.
