Tomasz Wiktor is a multimedia artist based in Paris, France. He uses many forms of expression – from traditional drawing to video installation and interactive computer systems. Since 2007, He has been working on the art project “Drawing in Space” and developing his own XR/AR software which allows the recording of holographic shapes in three-dimensional form.
Tomasz is a recipient of the Fulbright PhD award 2024 at Northeastern University in Boston, USA and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw with a master's degree in Graphic Design and New Media Art in 2008. Additionally, to complete his postgraduate studies, he attended the Institut d'Arts Visuels in France and Shanghai Normal University in China. In 2015, he and his team were awarded the Grand Prize in the Art of Code competition for creating the best application that combines art with new technologies. In 2020 he received a Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Republic of Poland to carry out research for innovative solutions in areas of new ways of expression and communication. Today, he continues to pursue his passion by conducting art workshops, giving lectures and exhibiting his artworks in numerous public spaces, galleries and museums.
