Adam Hale, aka The Daily Splice, is a collage artist and animator from Preston in the UK and now based in Surrey.
After studying arts and creative design, Adam started a career in the marketing world but felt the need for more creativity and artistry in his life. He started pursuing his personal interest for vector illustration, but was frustrated by his own perfectionism and the time consumed - he felt the need for an artistic activity that better suited his experimental approach to art.
Back then, Adam lived in London : as he commuted to and from work, he began collecting free magazines distributed around London’s transport network. Each evening he would tear out images and splice together compositions in order to create new narratives. These daily collages, featuring current news stories and fashion trends, were shared on Instagram and The Daily Splice was born.
As his audience grew, he started receiving more and more commissions from brands and magazines around the world : since then, he has worked for Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Marie Claire, Boucheron and many other prestigious names.
There is nothing Adam loves more than : his wife, three kids, and creating interesting and original things for people to look at.
