Rose Jackson is an Australian textile and digital artist. She uses traditional wet felting methods to hand make wool and silk felt. From these colourful, abstract felt artworks she creates a range of digital works by combining those physical pieces with animation and GAN, an algorithm commonly used in artificial intelligence. Drawn to using colour and softness to express the beauty in the world and her surroundings, Rose makes artworks that move with the magic of the infinite universe.
Over the past 2 years Rose has had both physical and digital artworks shown in a number of exhibitions around the world, including Berlin, Zurich, Melbourne, China and multiple times in both New York City and London. Her work has also been auctioned through a renowned Chinese Auction house and published in Australian Art Collector Magazine.
