Kmotion, also known as ‘Puks’, is a digital artist and animator recognised for her vibrant, surrealist art. Her work combines the whimsical charm of everyday moments with the imaginative surrealism of a utopian future. Puks' art invites viewers to engage their curiosity and imagination, constructing personal narratives from her creations. Her pieces often evoke a sense of peace and serenity, creating immersive worlds that offer comfort and joy.

Puks is greatly inspired by music, the nostalgia of their upbringing, and Studio Ghibli films. The artist always listens to music whilst sketching, and pours the emotions, beats and atmosphere of the songs they listen to into her compositions. In terms of storytelling and environment, Puks' work often draws inspiration from her childhood living by train tracks, and surrounded by lush greenery. Lastly, the colour palettes found in the artworks take strong inspiration from Studio Ghibli films, which further adds a cosy, familiar and nostalgic mood to the artist's work.
