Murat Saygıner is a self-taught digital artist who works as a motion designer, filmmaker, photographer and composer. Born in Prague in 1989, Murat Saygıner embarked on photography and digital art in 2007 and has won numerous international awards. In 2008, his works were selected for the exhibition "IPA Best of Show" in New York and in 2010, he received the Emerging Talent of the Year award as part of the "The Photography Gala Awards". In addition to his career in visual arts, Saygıner also composes music and currently works as a freelancer in Ankara, Turkey.

Since 2013, he has written, directed and produced several animated short films that have been screened at more than 200 film festivals, including festivals qualifying for the Oscars as "Animest" and "AIFVF". Six of his films were selected by staff on Vimeo. In 2019, he collected ten of his short films under the title "The Flying Fish", which garnered various reviews from renowned filmmakers and received the Vitriol Award for Best Experimental Film at the first Venice International Hermetic Film Festival.
