Misha Anoshenko

Aizek, aka Misha Anoshenko, is an artist based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, whose works explore artificial life forms in digital media. With training in motion design and VFX, he uses algorithms to create psychedelic abstract images and hypnotic moving images. He works in the field of live audiovisual performance with an immersive installation approach. His work explores space as inhabited by both digital and physical entities, and creates a hybrid relationship between media arts and artificial intelligence. His work is an exploration of human perception of color and sound, based on the scientific study of harmony.


Misha has a BFA in 3D Animation & Digital Editing de la St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is also a graduate of the British High School of Art and Design in Motion Design, as well as the Ildar Yakubov Interactive School. He participated in the Science Festival (St. Petersburg), the Festival of Lights (St. Petersburg), the 48th Sehsüchte International Film Festival (Germany), and gave a performance in collaboration with All-In Orchestra at the Alexandrinsky Theatre in Saint-Petersburg.
