Dusty Deen

Dusty Deen is an American director and animator who has produced many award-winning clips and short films. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Eastern New Mexico University, specialising in Graphic Design and Animation 4.0. In his work, he seeks to share the video experience by teaching youth and adults how to tell stories through film workshops, stop-motion training seminars and mentorships. Currently, he works as a committee member and volunteer in many community programmes promoting art.


As a director, Dusty is known for his collaborations and unique style. For example, he has already been asked to produce and publish more than a thousand television commercials. His experience in directing extends to directing plays, as he has also produced live performances. As a documentary filmmaker, Dusty has worked as a photo director and animator for the feature films “Between Earth and Sky: Climate Change on the Last Frontier” and “Narratives of Modern Genocide”. Both critically acclaimed documentaries have been screened in universities around the world.
